Dr. Mina Narula
Dr. Mina Narula is the founder and doctor here at Center for Orthodontics, and the genius behind every stunning smile we create. Her expertise allows her to handle even the toughest cases, while her winning personality puts patients at ease.
About Dr. Narula
Dr. Narula has been shaping smiles of all ages for over 25 years. Her talent and dedication to the craft have earned her the title of Diamond Invisalign® provider, making her the top Invisalign® orthodontist in the area.
Education
Dr. Narula holds a double degree in Orthodontics from Tufts University, Boston, and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. Following her degrees, she was a Research Fellow in Orthodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
A strong believer in education, Dr. Narula has been an Assistant Professor and Clinical Instructor at Loma Linda University since 2002. She works closely with dental professionals in the Coachella Valley to keep them updated on advancements in orthodontics.
Treatment philosophy
Dr. Narula believes that every smile is completely unique. She customizes each patient’s treatment plan, so their smile fits them perfectly. Part of her focus on customization is early intervention.
Dr. Narula recommends that children be seen by an orthodontist by the age of 7 years old. This young age allows her to address problems as they arise, so kids’ smiles can grow with them.
Early intervention prevents the need for extraction, something Dr. Narula tries to avoid whenever possible. This emphasis on making space and preventing extraction allows for fuller, more beautiful smiles.
Memberships and certifications
Dr. Narula is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. On top of her two degrees, assistant professorship, and running her practice, Dr. Narula is an active member of many professional associations.
Dr. Narula is one of only 400 orthodontists worldwide chosen to be part of the prestigious Angle Honor Society. She considers this her greatest professional honor, as it required years of hard work and dedication.
